Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire

Ultima: The Savage Empire (Ultima: Kyouryuu Teikoku) is a port of Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire for the SNES released in 1995 by ORIGIN Systems (and Pony Canyon). The game is a drastic departure from the traditional video games in the Ultima series, and takes place into a world that resembles the Amazon rather than the typical medieval style setting of previous titles in the series. The game's engine was based off Ultima VII: The Black Gate's engine. The game was planned for Western release, but was cancelled.

I write these words aboard a colossal bullet rocketing from the Earth to Mars. Wondrous as this is (and it is, I assure you, quite wondrous), I am even more amazed by the fact that it is the year 1895! Tesla - yes, the noted scientist of years past, Nikola Tesla! -- is unsure how long the voyage will take so I have decided to pass the time recording what mankind (circa 1895) knows of our destination - Mars. How I came by this information is a story in itself.

Savage Empire is Origin's first "Worlds of Ultima" release. It was made using basically the same engine as Ultima VI but with slightly different graphics. The game contains all of the elements of the other Ultimas, as well as some extra features that add to the experience. You are able to interact with the environment in a realistic manner... picking branches from trees, digging clay from a riverbank etc. Savage Empire also has a lot more character interaction than the previous Ultimas. Characters will jump into conversations whenever they feel they have something pertinent to add.

Pokémon Shield is a role-playing game set in the Galar region, a fictional land inspired by the United Kingdom. Players control a young Pokémon Trainer who catches and trains creatures called Pokémon, battling other trainers in turn-based combat. The game introduces the Dynamax and Gigantamax mechanics, which temporarily transform Pokémon into giant forms with enhanced abilities. Progression follows the traditional Gym Challenge structure, requiring players to defeat eight Gym Leaders before competing for the League Championship. The Elder Scrolls VI is an upcoming single-player action RPG from Bethesda Game Studios, serving as the sixth main entry in The Elder Scrolls series and the follow-up to 2011's Skyrim. The game is built on Creation Engine 3 and entered active production in 2023 following the completion of Starfield. Director Todd Howard has described the project as aiming to be the "ultimate fantasy-world simulator." The game's setting and story details remain undisclosed. It will release exclusively on Windows and Xbox platforms.

Borderlands 3 is a first-person looter shooter set seven years after the events of Borderlands 2.
