Lois Lane has been kidnapped, and only the Man of Steel can save her! Agents from the lava-scarred planet Apokolips have come to Metropolis to humiliate Superman before the entire world, right in his own hometown. Enlisting the aid of local mob kingpin Bruno Mannheim, leader of the notorious Intergang, wicked emissary Kanto supplies the gang with out-of-this-world weaponry possessing the power to bring down Superman. While Superman is busy bringing the thugs of Intergang to justice, the beastlike Kalibak seizes the opportunity to abduct Lois and spirit her away to a remote, clandestine location. In the meantime, bad bundle of energy Livewire has busted out of Strykers Island Prison, and she is out for vengeance against the man who put her there--Superman. There is no rest for the Last Son of Krypton as the Countdown to Apokolips begins!

Based on the Superman Animated Series, you play as Superman saving citizens in Metropolis and battling villains like Lex Luthor, Metallo, Livewire, Parasite and Darkseid. It uses cel-shaded graphics and voice-actors from the tv series.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an open-world third-person action-adventure game set in a version of Manhattan. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a video game title encompassing three versions: a full-3D action game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360; a 2.5D sidescrolling beat em up action game for the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 (called Amazing Allies Edition), and a 2.5D side-scrolling brawler/platformer for the Nintendo DS. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, along with most other games published by Activision that had used the Marvel licence, was de-listed and removed from all digital storefronts on January 1, 2014.

Batman: Arkham Knight is an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios, released in 2015. It is the final installment in the Arkham series. Players control Batman as he faces Scarecrow, who unites Gotham's criminals to destroy the Dark Knight. The mysterious Arkham Knight, a new adversary, aids Scarecrow in his plan. The game features open-world exploration, stealth, combat, and puzzle-solving. A key addition is the Batmobile, used for traversal and combat. The story explores Batman’s psychological struggles and the collapse of his alliances as Gotham spirals into chaos.

Omensight is an action role-playing game framed as an action murder mystery. The player takes the role of the Harbinger, a warrior who appears only in times of great crisis, and uses a power that allows her to relive a single fateful day over and over. Combat is fast and built around a light attack, a heavy attack, a dodge, and a jump, with additional special abilities and the aid of a companion character. The mystery is unravelled by replaying events and joining forces with different allies rather than by sifting through evidence directly. It is set in the same world as Stories: The Path of Destinies, of which it is the successor.
