Popeye and the Quest for the Woolly Mammoth, is a game from Brilliant Digital Entertainment starring Popeye, for PC CD-ROM. Created via computer animation, it is a "Mutipath Movie", an interactive film where the viewer must choose Popeye's course of action by clicking onscreen icons at certain times.

Popeye: Ijiwaru Majo Seahag no Maki is a board game and sidescroller action game in one. The goal is to recover all the hearts scattered around the game board and defeat any mini-bosses presented by Popeye villains, and then finally defeat the seahag. The game's levels which are called stages feature large level maps that appear in the form of a board game in which the player will have to take turns moving around, explore each of its spaces, and obtain the hearts of Popeye's frozen friends. There are also spaces that serves different purposes throughout the game. The beginning of each stage starts with by showing the player which character will have to be saved. Their heart the rises skyward and splits into various pieces, those pieces then scatter onto random spaces of the map which the space will appear as an enclosed heart. When on the map, the player presses the action button a wheel will appear with spaces numbered 1-6 which will help determine the player's moves throughout the game. The game had a cancelled release in North America under the title of "Popeye", but ended up being released in Brazil under said title.

V-Ball - Beach Volley Heroes is the sequel to the NES game Super Spike V'Ball, an arcade game that deals with beach volleyball in a very special way. There are several teams you can choose from, such as Soldiers, Ninjas, Soccer players and so on, and each of them has got its own moves and special effects. There are commands for both heavy shots and for light ones, making you choose the strength to hit and throw the ball. There are no power bars and once hit, the ball flies to the opposing side automatically. The special moves can be triggered whenever you push certain button combinations (triangle and circle, circle and cross, etc) at the right moment. If it is a defense move, for instance, you must do it in response to others attacks. There is a Tournament mode, which is the main solo entertainment (although you can also play single matches vs the AI), but this game is clearly designed around player-vs-player mode, for arcade matches against human opponents.

Inazuma Serve Da!! Super Beach Volley ("It's a Lightning Serve!! Super Beach Volley") is a 2D volleyball game from Virgin Interactive Entertainment that was released exclusively in Japan. The player selects their volleyball players from a group of twenty-four characters, each with their own stats and idiosyncratic appearances, and takes on another team in various beach volleyball venues across the world including California, Hawaii, Japan, Brazil, Australia and India. Twenty of the characters belong to ten separate nationalities for the world cup mode, while the remaining four are female competitors who are unaffiliated with any country. The game features a standalone "free battle" versus match, a world cup elimination tournament and a professional league.
