Polis 2 is a Swedish game where you play as a leader of the murder investigation unit of the police force and the task is to solve a murder case which starts with the finding of a dismembered arm in a lake. The gameplay consists of you assigning team members tasks, interrogation, and collect evidence whereof lamps will indicate progress of how much has been collected. Once enough evidence is collected the player can eventually put together who the murderer is. The game was released with its own localization in Denmark under the title 'Mistænkt'. It also changed the case introduction a bit where instead it is a woman who washed ashore on the beach.

Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery: Blue Train Satsujin Jiken is a mystery game released for the Nintendo Famicom in 1989. Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery: Blue Train Satsujin Jiken ("Kyoutarou Nishimura Mystery: Blue Train Murder Case") is the first game in a series of murder mystery adventure games based on novels by famed Japanese mystery author Kyotaro Nishimura.
