Never before has a baseball game been created that captures the details of the sport like MLBPA Baseball. Realistic run-downs, accurate cut-off plays, the double switch, multiple defensive alignments, snap throws, even bad hops and booted balls. The game is a street football game in which the player can take control of 4-a-side versions of national football teams in matches where the object is to win by scoring a set amount of goals or points via tricks, or within a time limit. In the career mode "Rule the Streets", one creates a player and competes in tournaments around the world to obtain "Skill Bills" to buy clothing and upgrade his rating. As the player improves, he can captain his own street football team and eventually become an international. The best players have special moves often named after their nickname. Legends of football such as Abedi Pele, Eric Cantona and Paul Gascoigne are unlockable during the game. The game has its own in-game radio station, presented by Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 and featuring music by artists such as Roots Manuva, Sway, Pendulum, The Editors and The Subways.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2, known as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 6 in Japan, is the second instalment of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer football video game series. The Japanese version was succeeded by the updated World Soccer: Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution. This game is basically an update to MLB 99 with a few new features. The game contains depictions of the real teams, stadiums, stats, and players that reflect their real life counterparts. The modes returning from the previous game include quick play, season, playoffs, spring training, and home run derby. One of the new modes is general manager mode. In this mode, players can draft, create, trade, call up, waive, release, and sign players. Another new mode is the manager mode. In this mode, players can check out scouting reports during the game, warm up relievers in the bullpen, and try to get their team to the World Series and hopefully win it.

Grab your Wii Remote and take turns using an underhand throwing motion to get your ball as close to the jack (white ball) as possible. Watch out for gophers, lawnmowers, and other obstacles that can block your path. Smash the Wall O Bricks with your bat and avoid the Behemoth! Players will swing the Wii Remote like a baseball bat to knock out bricks and earn power-ups. The fans are hungry and they’re letting you know it. Can you feed them all in time? Look at the bubble above a fan’s head to see what kind of snack he wants. Aim and launch the correct food at the fans to earn points. Bat, bunt, and toss the ball to sink it in the hole in the fewest strokes possible! Multiple Wii Remote motions will be used to complete a hole. Swinging motions for drives, throwing for mid range shots and once on the green you’ll utilize a bunting motion to finish off the hole. Try to knock marbles out of the circle in this baseball themed take on a classic childhood game! Hold the B Button and perform an under-arm throwing motion with your Wii Remote. Release the B Button when you wish to release the ball. Don’t want to play a full game of Baseball Golf? Work on your swing at the Batting Range! Bat balls into the stands and try to earn prizes on the biggest pachinko board around. The baseballs you’ve collected can be spent in Pachinko to earn prizes such as bats, balls, shirts and more which can then be equipped in your player’s locker! As you play the different mini games, you can win Piñatas. These Piñatas are needed to play the Piñata Smash mini game. You’ve got 30 seconds to swing the Wii Remote to smash the Piñata and reveal the prizes within. Head on into the Trophy Room to see the prizes you have won by completing and winning the mini games. Here you can equip your character with all of the unlockable gear you’ve discovered along the way! The gear is broken down into categories: headgear, clothing and equipment. Think you’ve got the moves? Play with Wally the Green Monster, Fredbird, Mr. Met, or Phillie Phanatic. Perform for the crowd and show them what you’ve got. Mimic the gestures on screen with the Nunchuk and Wii Remote to earn points before time runs out.

Go out to the old ballgame in MLB '99. Players can choose from modes like Quick Play, Playoffs, Season, and Home Run Derby. The Spring Training mode allows you to create and develop your own player, who must prove himself in a short minor league stint.
