On a world with no women, the surviving men have reintroduced the female in the form of an android. Called Marionettes, they are built to serve men and are limited in their interactions with humans. That is until a poor boy named Otaru Mamiya encounters a Marionette named Lime. Lime is a Saber model with a special circuit that gives her emotions. When Otaru awakens two more Saber Marionettes, his life as an 'average' boy quickly becomes as extraordinary as the lives of his eager, busty new friends.

Savage Reign is a vs. fighting game that offers a dozen fighters, mixing fighting with weapons and a two-plane system like the one seen in the Fatal Fury saga, with which it is possible to get to the back of the stage by climbing to a higher level or climbing up pipes. Each stage has interactive elements that intervene in the fights, such as falling stalactites, lava jets, spotlights that can be knocked down, and all the characters, have the ability to execute movements based on projectiles, which can be used to chase the opponent when he changes planes, and which can even be reflected.
Originally, Capcom Fighting All-Stars was planned to be a 2D sequel to Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, before being converted to 3D. However, due to SNK's financial troubles and restructuring, the title was redesigned as a Capcom-only crossover with twenty former SNK members designing it, using the models previously built for the original title. Like SNK's KOF: Maximum Impact games, it was designed to translate a 2D fighting game series into 3D. This was done previously in the Street Fighter EX series, which Capcom co-produced with Arika. Capcom beta-tested the game, but after negative feedback from players and more months in development, the game was canceled in August 2003. According to an interview with former The King of Fighters director Toyohisa Tanabe, a secret character from Tanabe's old company (SNK) was set to be playable in Capcom Fighting All Stars.. While not confirmed, the figure bears a heavy resemblance to K' or Kyo Kusanagi.
The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood is a fighting game released by Playmore, MMV and Sun-Tec for the Gameboy Advance. It is based on The King of Fighters 2000 and is the sequel of The King of Fighters EX. It was also ported for the N-Gage as The King of Fighters Extreme. Like its predecessor, The EX series takes place in an alternate timeline where the events of the NESTS Saga did not occur, as Kyo Kusanagi was found by Moe Habana rather than NESTS at the end of KOF '97, thus this game took place instead of KOF 2000 in the EX continuity.
The King of Fighters: R1 marks SNK's first time bringing the KOF series onto a handheld... and what better system than their own Neo Geo Pocket to do just that? 14 of the most well known KOF characters make their appearance in KOF: R-1, along with some recognizable backgrounds and gameplay features based on The King of Fighters '97. Players can choose from "Extra" & "Advance" play modes similar to KOF '97, and most characters play closely to their original versions.
