Kyouryuu Ikusei Battle RPG: Kyouryuu Monster

20.09.2007
A Japan-only sequel to the original Fossil League on Nintendo DS.
Years after the events of Fossil League, a young boy named Kenta decided to follow his father's footsteps to become a Dino Fighter champion. A paleontologist named Dr. Tokudaiji and his assistant Mio persuaded Kenta to work for them and help them with their research using a new time machine. He met an Albertosaurus named Al, which became Kenta's first dinosaur. However, after a battle against a girl named Ran and her Gorgosaurus, Al was mortally wounded. Kenta will do anything to take care of Al while trying to become a Dino Fighter champion and help Dr. Tokudaiji with his paleontological research. Meanwhile, an evil scientist named Professor Fogle is trying to mess up the Dino Fighter championship using illegal means, from manipulating Kenta's friends to stealing valuable fossils.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a single-player survival game played from a third-person view and set in an open world. Players control a member of a hominid clan and manage its needs by eating, drinking, and sleeping while facing predators and other dangers in the wild. Exploring new places and being hunted can trigger a state of fear, which is offset by rewarding actions such as crafting tools and making discoveries. As the clan learns and grows, players unlock new skills through a neural development system and can switch between clan members, passing acquired abilities to future generations. The game has no structured narrative campaign and instead lets players shape their own experience.

Intrepid Computer Entertainment and Lionhead Studio's action-adventure B.C. would have pitted players against a variety of pre-historic wildlife in an open world sandbox. The game was cancelled in late 2004 to focus work on other projects, with game director Peter Molyneux hoping it might one day be revived.
