Suikoden is a Japanese-style role-playing game with several unusual additions. There are three kinds of combat in the game, the most common one being the traditional turn-based party combat (players can have up to six people in their active party). Magic runes can be equipped on the player's characters which allow limited usage of offensive and healing spells. There are also a few army battles, where the player must control whole units of fighters, archers, magicians, etc., and one-on-one fights (duels).

Pikuniku is a puzzle and adventure game set in a colorful world. The player controls Piku, a small red creature, guiding him through levels and solving puzzles that mostly involve kicking and pushing objects onto switches to open the way forward. Piku can lasso his legs to swing from hooks and zip lines, curl into a ball to roll, ride minecarts, and travel through pipes to reach new areas. Along the way the player meets villagers to talk with and can spend coins earned in levels on items such as hats. A local co-op mode lets a second player control a similar orange creature named Niku across a set of cooperative levels.

Zoku Mikagura Shoujo Tanteidan～Kanketsu Hen～ is an adventure game that lets players enter into the mystic Taisho and early Showa periods and find out the truth behind each case. The number of scenarios has been increased largely and the “inference trigger” feature is kept intact to deliver the most enjoyable detective game experience.

The Suiri is a mystery solving adventure game where the player tries to solve 18 different cases. Each cases consists of searching various locations for clues and then making deductions and drawing conclusions. The game is viewed from 1st-person perspective with various zoomed-in areas of interest where player can often interact with in more detail.

The first game in the Jinguuji Saburo series was released on the NES in 1987. The series told the different cases of a 32 years old detective named Saburo Jinguuji out to solve deadly crimes, that is supported by a cast which includes his assistant Yoko Misoni and local police inspector Sanzo Kumano.

Mikagura Shoujo Tanteidan makes use of an inference trigger system in which players have to detect points that need attention or are contradictory during conversations and look for suspicious spots in crime scenes to find out the truth. Tomisibi ga keinu ma ni (aka Touka ga Kienu Aidani) (lit. While the Light Remains) is the seventh game in the series. As with previous entries in the series, the game progresses mostly through menu selection, as you slowly piece together a solution to the case. The game features multiple endings.

Zutto Issho is a first person perspective dating simulation game that when it was rereleased by Hamster the game graphics, the packanging & the ending song were changed. The goal of the game is to win the girls heart so the player will have to date her and make her feelings about the player's character grow. There are also some time limits in the conversations so the player have to decide quick what to do. There are also other characters to interact with (even the girls got their rival). The game features japanese voice acting for the characters.

Omensight is an action role-playing game framed as an action murder mystery. The player takes the role of the Harbinger, a warrior who appears only in times of great crisis, and uses a power that allows her to relive a single fateful day over and over. Combat is fast and built around a light attack, a heavy attack, a dodge, and a jump, with additional special abilities and the aid of a companion character. The mystery is unravelled by replaying events and joining forces with different allies rather than by sifting through evidence directly. It is set in the same world as Stories: The Path of Destinies, of which it is the successor.
