F355 Challenge 2: International Course Edition is the sequel to F355 Challenge. It was released for Sega NAOMI arcade hardware in 2001 and has not seen any home ports. As the name suggests, it uses digitized versions of real-life courses from around the world, all of which were featured in the home port of the first game. It improved the driving physics and added Two Music Tracks, while also removing Alan J as the radio DJ. Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the arcade machines on March 31, 2017.
Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is a racing game developed by Eutechnyx and published by System 3, based on the Ferrari Challenge, a single-marque motorsport championship. The Nintendo DS version features wireless multiplayer and the Wii version uses the motion sensing functionality for steering. The Nintendo DS, Wii, PS2 and PS3 (only in Europe and the United States) versions are available. The game includes 14 race-able tracks and Ferraris' own Fiorano test track (for training using a solitary F430 Challenge), a vinyl editor and online play. The game primarily features the driving and racing of the Ferrari F430 Challenge, along with a series of Ferrari road and racing cars that can be unlocked.[1]
The racing game genre has always been one of the most successful genres in video gaming accounting for 12% of all games sold. Ferrari is a top brand in the world making the combination a perfect match. The first preview of the Ferrari Challenge game by the international press will be held on June 23rd at the home of Ferrari, Maranello, Italy and will coincide with the finale of Ferrari's 60-year celebrations throughout which System 3 has been a major sponsor. The celebration tour started in Abu Dhabi in January and is set to traverse fifty countries before concluding at the Ferrari factory and the Ferrari home test circuit, Fiorano. Details of further titles from System 3 including "Ferrari Street Racer", featuring the whole range of Ferrari' cars will also be announced at the event.
