After the events in London, Ben decides to return to his home... but then gets a call from his friends, Simon Booth and Alice Wilkins. Simon says that there have been a series of mysterious murders in Osaka, Japan... but they soon discover that there is much more going on than they had first suspected. Working together with local police and his friends, Ben discovers the involvement of living dead, and tries to find links between different events.

After the events in Osaka from the previous case, Ben Jordan and his friends Simon Booth and Alice Wilkins decide to take some time off and go on holiday to Greece. With Athens blocked, they end up in the fishing village of Agia Anna where they learn about the Sea People, ancient creatures that emerge from the ocean at night and drag villagers down to eat them. While his friends consider it a vacation, Ben Jordan investigates the events. He will talk to different villagers and visit nearby islands to investigate the legend. Gameplay is true to the point-and-click adventure series with mouse-based action icons, an inventory, dialogue screens with character portraits and fairly straight-forward puzzles. This case also pursues Ben's lingering love interest that is Alice.

Our hero calls Simon Booth and Alice Wilkins, two friends sharing his passion of the paranormal, for help and soon, the trio is investigating the case... Renzi thinks he's being possessed by a demon... Will Ben solve this mystery before it's too late? Ben Jordan: Paranormal Investigator Case 7 - The Cardinal Sins is the seventh case in the Ben Jordan series and is a free and independent game which can be downloaded from the official site.

The events of final eight part of Ben Jordan's paranormal investigations start exactly after the end of the previous game The Cardinal Sins. Percival Quentin Jones is driving a car with the unconscious Ben Jordan to his flat in London. It is 30th December 2004 and only two days are left until the dark ritual of Cardinal Genovese will be performed. This ritual is tightly connected with relics of the past collected by his Knights of St. Anthony in places visited by Ben Jordan in previous cases. Just like the previous titles the genre is a classic icon-based point-and-click adventure with voice-overs. The player controls Ben Jordan in London and Paris most of the game, but also Ben's Grandfather, Arthur Jordan, while he was accompanied by Percy Q. Jones in the land of Romania to fight vampires in 1926. There are several puzzles and time-based sequences, where protagonists should think quickly to achieve the desired result or they can even die.

This time Ben Jordan travels to Smailholm, Scotland to investigate the murder of two children. Everything seems to point to witchery, so it's Ben's duty to investigate this crime. The interface is typical point and click with icons. The action is divided into days and there are two different paths towards the end. Also the game comes with a Handbook in HTML that contains some information that will be very helpful to solve the Smailholm mystery.
